Interview & Promotion

You have the experience. The panel needs to hear it.

Senior interviews and promotion conversations are rarely lost on competence. They are lost when the answer starts in the wrong place, the evidence arrives too late, or the strongest point is qualified until it disappears. Preparation here is about making your seniority audible from the first answer.

Where this applies

  • External interviews for senior and leadership roles
  • Internal promotion cases and calibration conversations
  • Panel and competency-based interviews, including clinical and technical panels
  • Business school and fellowship interviews
  • Partner, principal and director track conversations
  • Salary and scope conversations once the offer is on the table

What we work on

  • Answer-first structure: the point, then the evidence, then the consequence
  • Your career narrative: one coherent story instead of a list of roles
  • Evidence that sounds senior: scale, decisions and judgement, not task lists
  • Handling the question you didn't prepare for, without filling the silence
  • Precise language for your field, chosen for the level you are applying at
  • Composure under follow-up and challenge

How preparation works

Diagnose → Structure → Language upgrades → Realistic practice → Feedback loops

We start by finding out what is actually costing you in the room. It is rarely vocabulary. Then we build your answers from your real work, rehearse them against the questions this panel is likely to ask, and tighten them until they hold under pressure. Between sessions you rehearse in The Studio, your private rehearsal space, and we review what you did in the next session.

"In three weeks I was speaking with real authority in my business school interviews. Vocabulary, structure, presence — all of it shifted."
